How quickly will newly added supporters appear in SupporterBase?

• When a tag is added to a supporter in the NationBuilder control panel (either manually or via an auto-tagging filter) NationBuilder does not trigger a webhook, so the supporter will not be added to the group immediately. However, if you subsequently update the supporter’s core profile data (e.g. addresses, contact details, demographic information, custom fields, etc.) that will trigger a webhook (normally within a minute or two), which allows SupporterBase to update the supporter’s group membership more quickly.

• We run a full sync process twice daily to ensure all supporters are synced to our system (including for the case where NationBuilder didn't send a webhook). That sync process pulls the latest data for all supporters in every group and updates their group membership information accordingly.

• If it's important that new supporters added via this method appear in your SupporterBase group immediately (e.g. ahead of time sensitive communications), you can click the green "Sync people from NationBuilder" button visible on the groups' page in SupporterBase.

Can SupporterBase admins create NationBuilder people tags that don't already exist, or are they constrained to choose from existing tags?

Yes they can but these tags don't get instantly created in NationBuilder. They would only be created if they were ever used e.g. if an event was created with the new tag option that was added, or if a tag filter based on a new tag was applied to a Supporter.

Does SupporterBase have auto-tagging functionality?
