Making individual calls to supporters
Admins, captains and vice-captains can call supporters individually via SupporterBase, without approval.
Step 1: Choosing who you want to call
First, navigate to the relevant supporter group via the Supporter Groups option on the left-hand side navigation. Click on the group that contains the supporter (s) you would like to call. Choose the Call action from the menu at the top right of the supporter profile.
Step 2: Connecting
Once you select Call, You will receive a phone call to your cell/mobile number. Once you answer, you will be patched through to the chosen supporter (don’t worry, you won’t be charged personally! Phone charges are arranged with your organization via their SupporterBase subscription)).
To update your number, you can do this using the Edit my profile option within your personal profile (identified by your name in the left hand side navigation).
Step 3: Logging the contact
Once you have finished your call, you will be prompted to log the contact. You can record the outcome of the call (i.e. whether the call was answered), confirm the supporter’s RSVP details for a related event, and make notes on the call in the free text section.
