File attachments on email blasts
It's not possible to upload file attachments to an email blast. This is generally not supported by any bulk email tool given the effect that sending blasts with attachments has on spam filters. For example, NationBuilder doesn't support file attachments on outbound email blasts for the same reason, nor does MailChimp, CampaignMonitor, etc.
As such, the recommended best practice is to include a link to where the file can be found online, rather than attaching it directly to the email. In order to do this:
- upload your file to an online hosting service (e.g. Google Drive, DropBox, etc);
- add some text (or an image) to your email blast linking to that external URL. This can be done using the link icon from the email content editor's toolbar.
