Adding supporters via the use of tags in your nation

Admins with access to your NationBuilder account can add supporters to a group by applying the relevant group tag to the supporter’s profile via the NationBuilder control panel. You can learn more about using tags in NationBuilder via this NationBuilder support article.

Important things to note when using tags in NationBuilder

In order to add people from your NationBuilder database to a group in SupporterBase, you must add two tags to a supporter's profile in the NationBuilder backend (either manually or via an auto-tagging filter):

1. The 'supporterbase' master tag all lower case (which allows us to sync their data) AND
2. The relevant group tag (which allows us to sort them into the correct group).
