Custom FAQs
Create and manage your organisation's custom FAQ portal
SupporterBase provides a built-in FAQs portal where your organisation can create and manage its own frequently asked questions. Our support docs explain how SupporterBase itself works. Your custom FAQs are the place to:
- Share your organisation's communications style and strategy.
- Provide guidance on privacy and security expectations.
- Suggest tips or ideas for local organisers.
- Store template copy for SMS and email communications.
Accessing FAQs
Go to Help > FAQs to see a list of all organisation-specific FAQs. Every question expands in place to show its answer, and opening one closes the question already open. The Help base page links to the portal as well, through its Go to FAQs button.
- Captains and vice-captains can read the list as well as admins.
- An admin sets the order, and every reader sees the same order.
Admin only
Only admins can create, edit, and delete FAQs.
Managing FAQs
Every control for creating, editing and reordering sits on the FAQs page itself. An admin edits the live list, and a saved change reaches readers straight away.
Actions

| Create new FAQ | Use the Create new FAQ button in the top navigation. |
| Edit FAQ | Click the blue pencil icon next to an FAQ. |
| Delete FAQ | Click the red trash can icon. |
| Reorder | Drag a question by its arrows handle to change where it sits in the list. |
- Deleting asks you to confirm first, with the prompt "Please confirm you would like to delete this frequently asked question".

- The rich-text editor takes formatting, links and images in the answer.
- Save a new question with Create FAQ, and save an edit with Update FAQ.
