Check coverage across every event
See which upcoming events still need volunteers, without opening each one
Shifts overview lists every upcoming event that has shifts, with how well each one is covered. Use it to see which events still need volunteers without opening them one by one.
Opening it
Go to Events > Shifts overview.
It only shows upcoming events that already have shifts
An event with no shifts on it does not appear here, however soon it is. The page says so itself: "This page only displays upcoming events with assigned/unassigned shifts."
An event you forgot to build a roster for is invisible on the one page you'd use to check your rosters. Open the event and check its shifts before you report a missing event as a fault.
Reading the table

The header above the table carries three controls:
- A count of how many upcoming events you're looking at
- Search events, which narrows the list by name when you have more than a screenful
- The sort dropdown, labelled with the current sort
Sorting the list
Sort the table to bring the events you care about to the top:
- Start time (earliest first)
- Start time (latest first)
- Event name (a to z)
- Event name (z to a)
- Shift coverage (lowest first)
- Shift coverage (highest first)
Using it as a weekly check
Scan the coverage column
Work down the Shift coverage column from the nearest date outwards.
Pick this week's recruiting target
Anything under-covered close to its date is where your recruiting effort goes this week.
Open the board
Click Edit shifts on that event to fill the gaps.
Events that aren't listed
Think about which events aren't listed. Those are the ones with no roster at all, and close to the date that's a bigger problem than a half-filled shift.
Events with no shifts
An event you have created but never given a shift is left out until you add one.
Events that have already happened
The table covers upcoming events only, so a past event drops off it.
Empty coverage isn't the same as no shifts
An event showing zero coverage has a roster nobody has filled. An event that's missing from the list has no roster at all.

Add new event starts a new event without leaving the page.
From the empty state
When no upcoming event has shifts at all, the page shows No upcoming events with shifts and offers the same button.
